REM International - Master of Science

Admission Requirements

There is a set of minimum requirements that participants have to fulfil.
These minimum requirements are:

  • Bachelor degree with minimum grade of 3,0 (according to German System)
  • Proof of a relation to the renewable energy management through the previous studies of minimum 15 ECTS
  • Proof of proficiency in English language:
    TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language, USA) of at least 550 (computerized version: 213, internet based version: 79);
    IELTS (International English Language Testing System, UK), level 6
    Cambridge First (FCE) certificate
    TOEIC: 670 Points (Provided that the student passed both parts “Speaking and Writing” and “Listening and Reading”)
  • Additionally applicants are required to explain their study motivation on one page (in English)

Applicants need to hand in a research idea on two pages (in English)


Application deadline for DAAD Scholarships: Applicants from DAC-list countries can apply for the Master program until September 30th of the year preceding enrollment.

Application deadline for foreign applicants: Non German applicants can apply for the Master program until March 31st of the year via UniAssist
